Cannagar is a popular name among many who dabble in the world of cigar cigars. If you are not familiar with this flavorful treat, allow me to fill you in. Cannagar means "cactus plant" in English. This name is based upon the shape of the plant itself: a dried out, succulent pole with spines - which is exactly what the resulting cigar is! But how did this long, dry plant end up with such a name?
The origin of cannagars goes back hundreds of years to the beginning of the twentieth century. This is largely due to the successful cultivation of tobacco as a cash crop in Burma. The leaves were harvested from the leaves of the tallow plant (Cannibacterium Castus). This plant had been widely used throughout Asia as a source of fat and in particular, as a source of smoker's tobacco for people who sought a better smoke than was available from other harsher leafs.
When the world war broke out, supplies of cannabis dried up. As the war ended and the fighting stopped, farmers who had relied on the tallow plant for their livelihood found that their crops had dried up. Surprised at such a loss, they began harvesting leaves from other plants, including cannagars. And since cannagars and cigarettes are similar in appearance, they began to be paired with one another in order to create new, improved tobacco. The newly minted cannabis cigar was actually comprised of these previously harvested leaves, and because of their likeness to the human smoking body, the new "weed" quickly became known as "pot."
Today, there are numerous types of cigars that use cannabis as the base, whether they be rolled into a stick or rolled and stuffed into a cigar like package. However, the most common types are those that are sold in pipes called cannagars. While they are designed to look just like a regular cigar, their base is made from twelve grams of cannabis per cigar.
Like all other Cigars, Cannagar has its own unique taste and its own way of burning. It must first be prepared properly, by burning three grams of cannagar in a clay vessel called an earthenware clay shaker. Once it is ready, it should be placed inside a specially designed humidor to help it retain humidity. It should also be wrapped in aluminum foil, and its wrapping must be done with sturdy tape so that the foil does not tear.
The main ingredients of a typical cannagar are marijuana leaves, mostly cannabis, along with some quantity of sugar or oil to help keep the cigar looking its best. These other ingredients vary depending on the brand and the type of cigar that you are smoking. With this product, you will enjoy a strong and satisfying smoke that you can inhale in one go without getting bitten by the cigar. With such a good amount of demand, more companies are producing Cannagars that contain different and more potent ingredients. If you are looking for a great way to relax and get high, then smoking a good dose of cannagar is definitely something you should look forward to.
